As the final weeks are approaching for the completion of Tower 400, we understand everyone is excited to be able to close on their unit and begin enjoying their new home.
We want to remind our Owners that Tower 400 is still an active construction site. As much as we would like to accommodate everyone to access the building, including homeowners, designers, and appraisers, please note that strict construction protocols are still in place until our final inspections are completed.
Below are some important factors that need to be addressed;
FINANCING QUESTIONS
APPRAISALS CAN NOT BE COMPLETED AT THIS TIME; It is imperative that every homeowner intending to finance their unit contact their loan officer immediately with the following information regarding appraisals and appraisers accessing their unit.
1. Appraisers do not have access at this time due to OSHA standards and our inspections to complete the Tower. We have had appraisers calling and/or showing up at Kalea Bay, expecting access to the unit. Please note; the earliest appointments that can be granted for appraisals will be the first week of March.( some units maybe later depending on the construction schedule.) NO EXCEPTIONS.
2. Please provide your loan officer with the new Tower 400 Manager’s contact information and e-mail as follows: Ethan Loschiavo at kaleabayt400admin@guestservices.com
Ethan will be the contact person to set up appraisal appointments when available. Appraisers will still need to be escorted into the building. Be assured we will do everything we can to assist them within our timeline.
SUMMIT BROADBAND:
Regarding Summit Broadband; The day you close, your unit is already wired and set up for basic cable and internet (not WiFi). As of today, Summit has not yet assigned a direct customer service agent for Kalea Bay.
Summit will send out correspondence with their process and any information our homeowners need to facilitate their service before closing. Our closing company Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A. in conjunction with Old Republic Title Insurance Company, nor the Sales Center, have information regarding Summit broadband and can not assist with booking appointments.
